About
Shalom Kindergarten was established in 1984 as a community based Centre with a reputation for quality care and education.
It has developed into a Kindergarten with flexible hours serving families from the greater Tauranga area including Papamoa, Pyes Pa and Kaimais.
95% of our staff are trained and work as a cohesive team. They love children and endeavour to encourage a culture of knowledge with a wide variety of experiences in a well resourced Centre. They value and promote a balance of child and adult initiated learning with lots of choices in age appropriate groups.
What we offer
We offer hours as below:
Monday between 8:15 and 2:45pm and
Tuesday – Friday between 8:15 and 4:30pm for children from 2-5years old.
Children bring their own food and drink for kai time.
If you are wanting a couple of sessions per week we can offer that too as below. Your needs may be different to what you see here- please contact us and we will endeavour to help you out as space allows.
2 YEAR OLDS
Tuesdays and Thursdays 8.45 – 11.45am
3 YEAR OLDS
Mondays Wednesday Friday 8.45 – 11.45am
4 YEAR OLDS
Mondays 12:15- 2:45 and Tuesday-Fridays 12.15 – 3.15pm
As children get older they are offered more hours so please ask us and we will endeavour to help you out as much as space allows.
